I dream of doing a Project 365–taking a picture every day for a year–but I’m not going to put that pressure on myself. Instead, I will take a few pictures a week . . . so maybe a Project 52 is more within reach. To help keep myself accountable to that goal, I’ve decided to post one of my favorites each week. Most of the time the post will be a picture. That’s it. No words–just image.

I love it! I’ve been wanting to do a 365 photo project too. I’m going to try to post something everyday starting on the 14th when I leave for Germany. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this year! 🙂

Thanks, Soul! I haven’t seen my ornaments in so long. I had grand dreams of putting up a tree this year, but being home for only a week between the middle of November and the beginning of January pushed those dreams to Christmas 2013. I was so thrilled to find 2 of these guys in the CA Christmas ornaments. I hope I still have one of these. I’m glad you have yours. A little bit of Cote d’Ivoire lives at Christmas around the world.
I hang one of those ornaments on my tree every year. I loved seeing your picture. It’s funny what will trigger the best memories!
