I thought I was going to be home for a little more than two weeks.  Nope.  Yesterday my Mom was admitted to the hospital.  She’s in the middle of chemotherapy and the part of her white blood cells that makes her auto-immune system work have decided to take a little vacation.  It took 11 hours to bring her fever down to normal from 103.  She’s on a new antibiotic and receiving blood transfusions.  My Dad sounds exhausted and discouraged.  I’m going to go spend the next week with them.  Please pray for my Mom to rebound quickly and to keep getting healthier.  Pray for my Dad to find some rest and refreshment and to stay healthy.  Pray for me to know what to do to be helpful.  Pray for my brother and his family as they’re far away.
